Sharon A. O’Brien (1938-2024), SC; RN, PG; BSW, CG left her legacy of teaching, coaching, and mentoring which became the 1800 hour Personal Support Worker Trade Program.
Her love for teaching has taken her to nursing schools in the United States and Canada. She has authored many documents on senior care and published 500 articles on various themes as guiding principles for seniors and their families and she is our primary contributor to our blog.. For the past 30 years Sharon has placed a greater emphasis on quality training methods for home care in an effort to effect change in attitudes and services for the elderly.
